Funding
AU-Startups is funded through a combination of restricted and unrestricted grants, earned programmatic revenue, and individual giving. We do not accept funds from sources whose interests conflict with our mandate — our refusal policy is published alongside our annual report.
Governance
We are governed by a board of trustees that meets quarterly. Board composition, term limits, and conflict-of-interest policy are disclosed in our governance charter. All material decisions sit with the board, supported by an audit committee.
What we publish
Annual report covering programs, beneficiaries, and financial allocation.
Independently audited financial statements for each fiscal year.
Grant letters of intent and MoUs with major partners, where disclosure is permitted.
Safeguarding, whistle-blowing, and complaints channel.

We welcome scrutiny. If you believe any of our work has fallen short of our stated principles, please contact our complaints channel — response within 10 working days is our standing commitment.
